The Tata Harrier (Without Camera Model) Android CANBUS module is a communication interface designed to integrate the vehicle’s factory electronic system with an Android infotainment unit.
It reads essential data from the car—such as ignition, door-open signals, AC settings, steering wheel controls, illumination, and warning alerts—and converts this information into a format that the Android head unit can interpret.
This module ensures that all OEM functions remain active and fully compatible with the new Android stereo, even in Harrier variants that do not come with a factory-installed camera.
It allows seamless operation of features like steering controls, vehicle status display, reverse gear signal (if an aftermarket camera is added), and other system notifications—without cutting or modifying the original wiring.
It keeps the installation safe, clean, and warranty-friendly while providing stable communication between the car’s ECU and the Android unit.
