An Android CANBUS interface/decoder is an electronic module that connects an aftermarket Android head unit to your car’s CAN network so that original vehicle features continue to work correctly on the new system. For 2022-on Suzuki models, this can include retaining steering wheel buttons, automatic climate (AC) display, parking sensors, door status & other ECU info on the Android screen. The same style of CANBUS harness is used for Mahindra cars (e.g., XUV series, Scorpio, Thar, Bolero, etc.) to keep OEM features functional after stereo replacement.
When you add 360° activation support, the CANBUS module (plus a compatible Android stereo and cameras) lets the head unit display a 360-degree camera view (bird’s eye or surround view) while parking — giving a complete real-time view around the car. This requires both a compatible head unit and camera kit; the CANBUS helps trigger and communicate the camera feeds correctly with the car system.
These harnesses are typically plug-and-play and eliminate the need to cut factory wiring, making installation simpler and helping preserve original car info on screen.
